You've Arrived. The Radisson Hotel and Suites Austin (Texas) is located in downtown Austin overlooking Town Lake. A 15-minute drive from Austin Bergstrom Airport, this hotel is within walking distance of Austin Convention Center and the local flavor of 6th Street.
The Haves. In The Radisson Hotel and Suites Austin recently completed a lobby remodel and expansion, adding a fireplace, cozy seating and lobby bar service with local, live music. Guests can also peruse the new gift shop, soothing aquarium and sip lattes at the full service Starbucks store. Local artist Karen Maness was also commissioned to paint a mural on the lobby wall. The hotel offers over 20,000 square feet of meeting space and a ballroom accommodating up to 600 guests. For active guests the hotel features a large pool and fitness center. The Town Lake walking trail is just outside the hotel. Casual fare is served on-site at TGI Friday's.
Interior Motives. The hotel offers 413 guestrooms with lake or city views, multi- line telephones, complimentary newspaper delivery and high-speed Internet access (surcharge). Suites include mini fridges, separate living areas and sofa beds. Concierge Club Level guestrooms and suites feature Sleep Number Beds and access to the Concierge Club Room (open Monday-Friday)
In The Know. Seven blocks from the hotel, the Austin Museum of Art features a retail store with homemade jewelry and accessories like bowls fashioned from vinyl records.
