Positioned adjacent to Interstate 15, just five miles from the California/Nevada State Line, the Gold Strike Hotel and Gambling Hall offers high-value services and budget accomodations. Located 25 miles south of the renowned Las Vegas Strip, this hotel casino is frequented by budget travelers who want easy access to Nevada's biggest attraction, without the pressures that accompany staying in the city. Featuring 821 slots and eighteen table games, the 35,000 square-foot casino is sufficient for most guests, but doesn't have the same presence or scale as Las Vegas properties. Serving classic dishes for old- fashioned prices, the hotel's Steakhouse is the place to dine while visiting Jean, Nevada. According to guest reviews, the Bonanza Buffet is reasonably priced, but leaves much to be desired in terms of quality. Other popular hotel amenities include a seasonal outdoor pool and a 24-hour coffee shop.
Clean and spacious, the guestrooms at Gold Strike Hotel and Gambling Hall were designed to accommodate budget travelers who appreciate basic amenities but don't require the same frills that are found on The Strip. Although the guestroom interiors are clearly dated, they enjoy similar mountain views as Las Vegas hotels, but have a very different price tag. Each of the 811 guestrooms come equipped with coffeemakers, cable television and offer complimentary local calls.
