The Park Place Hotel is located just one block south of Front Street, the focal point of fun activity in town. If you are flying into the Cherry Capital Airport, simply pickup the phone in the terminal, and it will connect you with the front desk for the airport shuttle. This historical property was built on a stretch of former parkland, hence its name. The hotel offers fine dining at its restaurant, "Minerva's". For a more intimate setting, overlook Traverse City's West Bay in the Beacon Lounge on the tenth floor of the Park Place. The Park Place Hotel offers 140 clean and comfortable rooms with all of today's modern conveniences, and a traditional decor that features Victorian furnishings, hardwood headboards, and grand armoires. Exclusive to the 9th floor, the spacious Suites offer open-air balconies and bay windows, with breath taking views of the Grand Traverse Bay. The Park Place features an indoor pool, with an adjacent whirlpool and sauna. The hotel offers a fitness facility, as well.
Please Note: This hotel will be undergoing renovations until the end of May, 2005. The hotel will do its best to minimize noise, etc, but because of rooms being under renovation requests such as non-smoking or smoking rooms may be unavailable.
