The Metropolitan Deira is a modern eight-story hotel with glass facade, set in the shopping district and located five kilometers from the gold and spice souks. The air- conditioned guestrooms have patterned fabrics in rich, warm colors and dark wood furnishings. All include sitting areas with two armchairs, Internet connections, fax machines, satellite television, telephones, safes, and minibars. All bathrooms come with large tubs, designer toiletries and hair dryers. A complimentary bottle of wine, mineral water and a fruit basket is provided in each room upon arrival.

Deira, known as Dubai's shopper's paradise, lies one kilometer from the hotel. Dubai International Airport is three kilometers and a 10 minute drive from the hotel. The hotel runs a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. Alternatively, a taxi to the hotel costs around 15 DHR.
