On the east side of Alphonse Island in the Indian Ocean, Alphonse Island Resort comprises of chalets and villas located right by the beach and lagoon. The 25 air conditioned chalets rest on pillars and have thatched roofs and large private verandas. All include international direct-dial telephones, minibars, cable television, bathrobes, bathrooms with complimentary designer toiletries, baths and African-style outside showers.
