Hotel Do Campo is a modern balcony-fronted hotel set in carefully tended gardens filled with flowers and fragrant herbs of the island. Overlooking the sea, the hotel is situated 1.5 kilometres from the town of Ribeira Brava and 15 kilometres from the Madeiran capital Funchal. The 32 air-conditioned guestrooms have balconies with views of the sea, mountains or gardens and are decorated in a simple contemporary style with light oak furniture and fabrics in neutral colours. The island is full of natural sites to visit, and guests can explore the Levada footpaths around the island, or head nine kilometres to Cabo Girao Promontory, the second-highest sea cliff in the world. Madeira Airport is 35 kilometres away and the approximate driving time is 35 minutes.
