A historical building which retains many of its original medieval features, the Solar do Castelo is situated within the 18th century walls of São Jorge Castle, and 800 metres from the city centre. The 14 air-conditioned guestrooms are decorated in a contemporary style with design furniture and come equipped with cable television, safes, hair dryers, and Internet connections.
