The Jolly Hotel Leonardo da Vinci is a contemporary, eight storey hotel in central Rome, three blocks from Lepanto Metro Station, 800 metres from Piazza Cavour. Featuring understated, contemporary decor in deep colours with simple, modern furniture, the air-conditioned guestrooms enjoy views over the surrounding residential area or the river Tiber. All are equipped with cable television, safes, minibars and direct-dial telephones and Internet connections. Bathrooms have hairdryers and are decorated in tile and marble.
Guests can enjoy typical Italian cuisine and chose from a variety of Italian wines at lunch and dinner and buffet breakfasts are served each morning in the restaurant, which opens out onto a plant-filled patio. Drinks and cocktails are available from the bar and guests can browse the daily papers in the lobby lounge, with its cool marble floor. Working online in the hotel's public areas is made simple thanks to wireless Internet access and health conscious guests will appreciate access to the facilities at a nearby fitness centre. The front desk is open round the clock and has a safe for valuables and those arriving by car can make use of the on site garage. Visitors will find many of Rome's key attractions within two kilometres, including Vatican City and the Spanish Steps (1.5 kilometres away), the Pantheon and Piazza Navona (two kilometres). For visitors arriving by train, Termini station is around four kilometres from the hotel, while Fiumicino Airport is 35 kilometres and approximately a 45-minute journey from the vicinity of the hotel. There is an express train service from the airport every 30 minutes to Rome's Termini train station (journey time 30 minutes), where there are bus and metro links to other parts of the city. A single ticket costs around 10 EUR. Alternatively, taxis are readily available at the airport and cost 50-60 EUR to central Rome (including airport surcharge).
