Housed in a 1930s building, Fortyseven Hotel stands in the center of Rome, opposite the Temple of Vesta and 500 meters from the Roman Forum and the Circus Maximus. Each of the hotel's five floors is dedicated to a different Italian master of the 20th Century: Mastroianni, Greco, Modigliani, Quagliata and Guccione. The 61 air-conditioned guestrooms have a contemporary design and are decorated with 20th-century art pieces. All guestrooms feature marble bathrooms, minibars, wireless and dial-up Internet access, satellite television and pay movies. Guests can start the day with buffet breakfasts and later enjoy cocktails in the lounge bar, use the business center or, on warmer nights, drink in the stunning views of Rome from the rooftop garden. Room service and two meeting are available. Many of Rome's most famous sites, including the Forum, Circus Maximus, Piazza di Spagna and the Coliseum, are within one kilometer of the hotel. Rome Fiumicino Airport is 25 kilometers away, a drive of about 25 minutes. Transfer from/to the airport is available upon request through the hotel.
