Steeped in history and with a secluded, patio garden at its centre, the Hotel Rivoli occupies a converted 15th century Franciscan monastery in central Florence, just 250 metres from Santa Maria Novella railway station. Florence Vespucci Airport is about six kilometres and a 15 minute journey from the hotel The airport is a short taxi ride from town (costing 13-16 EUR) although it is also possible to take the half-hourly bus, which transports passengers to Santa Maria Novella Station, in the centre of Florence and less than five minutes on foot from the hotel.
