The Hotel Atlantic Palace is a traditional, richly historic Florentine hotel housed in a 13th century monastery. Set in the city centre, the hotel is within 500 meters of most markets, restaurants and museums. The 62 spacious guestrooms have high, beamed ceilings and are sumptuously appointed in 18th century Florentine style. All rooms have marble bathrooms and include air conditioning, satellite TV and minibars.

Florence Airport is 6 kilometres (4 miles) from the hotel. Although the airport is very close to Florence, traffic can be bad in the city, so guests are advised to allow 20 minutes. The airport is a short taxi ride from town (costing 13-16 EUR) although it is also possible to take the half-hourly bus, which transports passengers to Santa Maria Novella Station, in the centre of Florence.
