Hotel Meuble Furggen is a modern chalet-style hotel built on a hill overlooking Cervinia village and adjacent to the Val di Aosta ski slope. The hotel's 35 guestrooms feature light, Alpine influenced décor with wood furnishings and all include private bathrooms, satellite television, telephones and balconies with views of the mountains and village below.
Guests can start their day with a hearty complimentary breakfast in the authentically Alpine surroundings of the breakfast room with its wooden walls and sloping roof. On their return from the slopes, guests can make use of the ski storage facilities before retiring to the bar which features a fireplace and wooden bar, or relax in the TV room. The hotel also has free parking and multilingual staff. Cervinia is one of the highest resorts in the Italian Alps reaching 3,480 metres above sea level and is dominated by the Matterhorn. The resort caters for skiers of all abilities and includes 42 kilometres of pistes and eight kilometres of cross-country skiing. There are 27 lifts serving the runs, graded 15 percent beginner, 65 percent intermediate and 20 percent advanced. The hotel is set in the middle of a ski trail and guests can ski directly from the hotel to the ski lifts which are 300 metres away; alternatively there is a ski bus. The nearby resort centre of Cervinia has tennis, ice skating and swimming facilities as well as restaurants and bars for some well earned après ski. The medieval town of Aosta is 53 kilometres away and the nearest train stations are at Valle d'Aosta and Valle Di Susa. Turin Airport is 120 kilometres away with an approximate driving time to the hotel of two hours.
