The Liberty Hotel in Catania is a Liberty-style boutique hotel set in a restored city centre villa, 200 metres from shops and restaurants and two kilometres from the beach. The hotel's 18 individually decorated guestrooms feature interiors enhanced with antique furnishings, Tiffany lamps and prints inspired by Hofmann's original Liberty drawings created in 1911. Guestrooms extend to balconies and offer air conditioning, satellite television, telephones, minibars, safes, Sicilian sweets, complimentary newspapers and bathrooms decorated with marble mosaics.
Guests can sip drinks in the hotel's tranquil, marble- tiled courtyard garden, which is lined with shrubs and has wrought iron tables and chairs. Guests will find shops, a tourist information centre, Villa Bellini Park, and the Metropolitan Theatre, all 200 metres from the hotel. Manganelli Palace is 600 metres away and the city's main railway station and conference centre are one kilometre away. Catania - Fontanarossa Airport is seven kilometres and a ten minute drive away.
