Set on the coast 30 kilometres from Naples, the small Hotel Fontana offers bright family-run accommodation overlooking Amalfi's town square. The 21 summery, Italian-style guestrooms have white-washed walls, mottled stone floors and classical paintings hanging on the walls on the walls. Some rooms have balconies, with views either of the town square and the cathedral, or the sea. Rooms also have private bathrooms, satellite televisions, telephones, minibars and air conditioning.
