Set in landscaped gardens in the traditional fishing village of Kinsale in County Cork, Actons Hotel overlooks the harbor and marina and is within one kilometer of a number of historic sites of interest. Sightseers will find a number of attractions close to the hotel: Desmond Castle, which also houses the Museum of Wine is two kilometers from the hotel, while the historic site of Charlesfort is five kilometers away. The town's cultural past can be further explored at the Kinsale Museum and the Kinsale Brewery, both one kilometer away, as well as at the art galleries and craft shops which are run by local artists to the town, also one kilometer away. Cork International Airport (ORK) is eight kilometers from the hotel. A public bus is available from the airport to Cork city center. Taxis are also available from the airport and cost approximately 35 Euros to the hotel. The hotel operates a shuttle service for a fee.
