Its eye catching pink façade facing the sea, El Fuerte Hotel is set in 4,000 square meters of subtropical gardens just meters from the sandy beach, 200 meters from Marbella center. The bus station and La Canada shopping center are within two kilometers. Puerto Banus, with its glamorous boutiques and harbor, is six kilometers away. The nearest airport is Malaga, which is 55 kilometers and about a 45-minute drive from central Marbella. A shuttle service runs between the airport and Marbella. Otherwise, scheduled bus services leave from Malaga main bus station. Train and buses leave the airport for central Malaga every 30 minutes. Taxis are also available and cost around 50 EUR to the hotel.
