The modern Apsis BCN Events hotel is set in gardens in the town of Castelldefels, 100 metres from the Olympic Channel. It is 10 kilometres from Barcelona Airport and 19 kilometres from the Catalan capital. There are 190 air-conditioned guestrooms decorated in soft, neutral colours with wooden floors. Guests can work on their tans at Castelldefels beach, one kilometre away or head for the vibrant city of Barcelona 19 kilometres away, with its Gaudi architecture and wealth of museums. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Barcelona city centre; alternatively Castelldefels station is 500 metres away and there are trains every 15 minutes to Barcelona.
