Situated on Spain's sunny Costa Blanca, 10 kilometres from Benidorm, the Magic Excalibur complex transports guests back in time with its medieval theme including turreted architecture and castles. Accommodation consists of 250 modern, air conditioned timber bungalows. All are simply decorated in cream and blue with wooden furniture and include separate sitting areas, satellite television, safes, bathrooms and kitchens with refrigerators. The all-inclusive room rate incorporates breakfast, lunch and dinner, with drinks during mealtimes. The 120,000-square metre resort has a historical theme throughout and a range of entertainment activities including medieval dinners complete with jousting displays. The main restaurant serves international cuisine buffet style at breakfast lunch and dinner. Facilities include a large outdoor lagoon-style pool with bar and hot tubs, as well as an indoor pool, sauna and fully equipped gym. For children there is a large play area with slides, bouncy castle as well as a kid's club. There is a supermarket on site as well as a social club with cafeteria, bar and games including pool, darts, table football and table tennis. Free shuttle buses run to neighbouring hotels in the Magic chain where guests can make use of the facilities. Guests can also make use of the neighbouring Club la Marina for reduced prices; facilities offered there include six tennis courts, swimming and football. The resort is five kilometres from the Aqualandia water park and 10 kilometres from the lively town of Benidorm. Alicante Airport is 50 kilometres from the resort, an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.
