The Swissôtel Düsseldorf/Neuss is a skyscraper-style building located on the left bank of the River Rhine, eight kilometres from Dusseldorf's city-centre. The hotel's 246 guestrooms have views over the Dusseldorf skyline and are designed with pastel colour schemes and contemporary wooden furniture and lamps. Business rooms have separate sitting areas. All rooms include air- conditioning, satellite television, wireless Internet connections and minibars. The Petit Paris restaurant serves a la carte French and International dishes and has a traditional, early 20th century decor with heavy, red drapes, stencilled-glass partitions and wood furnishings. The hotel also serves drinks and cocktails from the bar and guests can relax and chat in the lounge. The spa is also an ideal place to unwind and comes equipped with a gym and indoor pool. A cinema multiplex is located three kilometres from the hotel. In the city centre, there's the Roncalli Variety Theatre and the Capitol theatre, both seven kilometres from the hotel, as is the city's film museum. Visitors can also see the opera house and a museum devoted to the work of the great German writer, Goethe. Dusseldorf International Airport is 14 kilometres (9 miles) from the hotel.
