Mondi Holiday Club Mitterfels is a rustic resort located next to the Bavarian Forest National Park, one kilometre from the centre of historic Mitterfels. The 85 self- catering guestrooms, studios and apartments feature country-cottage decor and open onto balconies or terraces with forest views. All rooms feature televisions, telephones, safes and clock radios. Fully equipped kitchenettes have refrigerators and microwaves (on request).
Guests can explore the 200 kilometres of hiking and biking trails in the neighbouring Bavarian Forest National Park, or go on cross-country skiing adventures that depart from the property in winter. Nearby attractions to the holiday club include the fascinating Glassworks five kilometres from the hotel and the shopping haven of Straubing, 15 kilometres away. Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport is 130 kilometres from the hotel, a 90-minute drive.
