Open in 2000, the NH Hamburg-Horn is a modern seven- storey hotel overlooking Hamburg racecourse, seven kilometres from the city centre. The 172 air-conditioned guestrooms have a light, airy atmosphere with contemporary décor in neutral colours, crisp white bed linen and blond wood furniture. All rooms are equipped with satellite television and pay movies channels, direct-dial telephones, wireless Internet connections and minibars. Guests can work out in the fitness centre and then unwind in the sauna and steam room. Polished woods and subtle colours characterise the hotel restaurant, which is open for buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. In summer guests can dine out on the decked terrace while enjoying views of the racecourse. The lobby lounge is the place to relax and browse the daily papers and facilities for business guests include meeting and conference rooms, high-speed Internet access and secretarial services. The front the desk is open round the clock and has a safe for valuables. Those arriving by car can make use of on site parking. There is an underground (U-Bahn) station within 500 metres of the hotel, providing easy access to Hamburg city centre. The fair ground and congress centre are eight kilometres away. Hamburg Airport is 11 kilometres and approximately a 25-minute drive from the hotel.
PLEASE NOTE: From June 25, 2005 to July 3, 2005, there will be a horse race adjacent to the hotel. The free parking will be unavailable, but guests may use a nearby parking garage with a free shuttle to the hotel. The hotel terrace will only be available to people with entrance tickets, which may be purchased at the hotel. Also, due to the race, there will be considerable noise from 11AM until 6PM from the loadspeaker announcements at the racetrack. |
