The Scandianvia Hotel Brussels is a smart modern hotel located one kilometre from the historic city centre of Brussels and 500 metres from the central railway station, where the Eurostar terminates. All 48 rooms have simple white décor with crimson carpets and modern furniture. Rooms are equipped with minibars, cable television and dial-up Internet connections.
Guests can start their day with a read of the papers and a buffet breakfast in the Bellevue restaurant, open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving French cuisine as well as daily specials with a selection of wines. Sightseers looking for something unexpected should visit the Chinese Pavilion and the Japanese Tower, both five kilometres from the hotel, which provide a striking change from the mostly gothic architecture of Brussels. The hotel is approximately 20 kilometres or a 30-minute drive from Brussels Zaventem Airport. Airport City Express trains to the city depart approximately every 10-30 minutes to Brussels' three main stations. A shuttle service from Midi Station is provided by the hotel free of charge. Metered taxis are available outside the arrivals hall; licensed cabs have a yellow and blue emblem. De Lijn buses run also every 45 minutes to the city.
