Providing romantic accommodations in a rural country inn, Manoir de Tilly is located in the picturesque village of St. Antoine de Tilly, just 25 kilometers from Quebec City, Canada. Built on the edge of the St. Lawerence River by the first French pioneers to arrive in Canada, this village has preserved its older homes and tranquil personality. Just off Route 132, St. Antoine de Tilly is located on two ranges, the upper and original section atop the cape, and the other on the riverbanks. Part of the original village, the Manoir de Tilly was built in 1786 for Militia Captain Jean- Baptiste Noël de Tilly and remains a beautiful display of French style. Completely restored in 1998, the Manoir provides a relaxing environment with small, comfortable but elegant lounges filled with antiques. Featuring views of the garden or the river, the inn offers 26 rooms and three suites. Some rooms include a fireplace or whirlpool bath. The Manoir de Tilly's dining room, under the direction of Chef Pascal Gagnon, has become a well-known destination for its innovative menu featuring fresh local produce, such as cheeses from Fromagerie Bergeron, apples and ice-cider from Vergers St-Nicolas and ostrich from Lotbinière.
Manoir de Tilly provides on-site massage and spa services and offers various all-in-one packages. Other area recreational activities include golf, horseback riding and kayaking. Nearby cultural activities include visiting the church of Saint-Antoine-de-Tilly, the art galleries in town, and Domaine-Joly-De-Lotbinière, a jewel of the Romantic Movement featuring a manor house from 1851, outbuildings, flower gardens and century-old trees.
Other hotel services and amenities at Manoir de Tilly include four meeting rooms, audio-visual equipment, 24-hour front desk, limited room service and a bilingual staff speaking English and French.
